January 21, 2010 Regular Meeting Agenda Item #3 Item Title C-2 Settlement Agreement with Stacy Hardwick as natural parent of Ashley Blonder, a minor Issue/Rationale The approval of this item will settle the above referenced lawsuit against the School Board of Clay County, Florida filed in the Circuit Court seeking money damages for injuries received on November 6, 2006.  The minor plaintiff was a student at Middleburg High School.  On the date in question she was in the process of changing classes and was ambulating on crutches.  Her crutch slipped in water which was on the floor, she fell to the floor, landing on and fracturing her right ankle. Recommended Action Approve the Settlement Agreement. Financial Impact $3,500.00 Submitted By Bruce Bickner, School Board Attorney
